It is said that simply observing the movement of water causes our minds to calm. Evidently, we see this effect on the guests who come to stay with us at Utopia Farm stay. As you enter the property, the first thing you notice is the expansive Gangapur Lake. The Godavari, which originates in Nashik flows through the backwaters of this dam to the rest of the city. 

As you drive across the papaya & banana trees, you enter the car park. Then you step out and walk across a graveled pathway towards what we have come to call our “Gossip Corner.” This outdoor seating area is our reception, dining area, play area and in the evenings (when we have talented guests), a musical stage! At Utopia Farmstay, we discard our childhood learning of not talking to strangers and pick up a conversation sitting anywhere in this vicinity! Ask your neighbors to join you for a game of chess or Fussball or our self-invented game called “traffic-jam”.

Don’t feel like talking to anyone? Don’t fret! Sink into one of our lounge chairs with a book, or simply to talk a nap! In the evenings, as the sunsets, you can lie on the lawn and simply look at the stars. When was the last time you did that in the city?

As the sound of our wind-chimes drives you to sleep, we hope you wake up the next morning feeling refreshed & energized. There will be a steaming pot of chai kept in the gossip corner to help you kickstart your day! Grab some of our hand-made & home-cooked breakfast before heading back from this weekend getaway!
